Creamy Potato Hamburger Soup


• 1 lb ground beef
• 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 1 onion, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 cups beef broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 2 carrots, peeled and diced
• 2 stalks celery, diced
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for garnish)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1. Cook Beef: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until the beef is browned.

2. Add Vegetables: Stir in carrots and celery, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

3. Thicken Soup: Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stirring to coat the vegetables and beef evenly. Pour in beef broth.

4. Add Potatoes and Season: Add potatoes, salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

5. Final Touch: Stir in heavy cream and heat through. Serve hot, garnished with shredded cheese and fresh parsley.
